Executive Team Coaching

Disrupt & Delight

A Team reinvention from the inside out

tell me more!

What would be possible if your executive team better understood themselves and each other?

Let’s say you are in a quarterly meeting with your exec team and while the conversation is humming and things are moving forward, you can see similar patterns playing out.

The person that typically talks the most is jabbering on.

The person that loves to play the devil’s advocate is doing their thing.

The groupthink is loud on one particular issue.

(this is a real example from a client)

Essentially you have a team of incredibly smart, highly-impactful, caring leaders that are stuck in the status quo of how they show up and how they work together.

There is nothing wrong with that. You could keep things how they are.

And yet, you know that if you really want to achieve what’s next, a reinvention is needed.

Leadership Whisperer

Hey! Sarah here.

on a mission to humanize ourselves and each other

As a tech leader turned business owner and Leadership Coach, I’ve supported leaders on communication, relationship building, empathy, decision-making, team culture, adaptive leadership, discovering what's next and meaningful goals specific to the client.

I’ve worked with leaders at big organizations like Microsoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and the University of Washington to leaders at mid-size companies, start-ups and solo-entrepreneurs.

My ability to coach in a way that cuts through the bull-shit with love, humor, and insight is honed by 20+ years of corporate work, leadership and coach training, 1000s of hours of coaching brilliant minds, and lived experiences.

I care deeply about the reinvention you are seeking, because I believe it is also how we reimagine a world that is more kind to humans, animals, and the planet.

So what gives?

humans will often choose a familiar hell over an unfamiliar heaven.

Now, that is extremely dramatic, however, as leaders and humans we live out micro versions of that. We have automatic behaviors, habits, and leadership styles that even when we can tell they aren’t as effective anymore, we still default to them.

Each leader brings to the team their own conditioning (societal, cultural, systemic, familial) and lived experiences that inform how they communicate, whether they are basing decisions on fear or possibility, the level of trust they are capable of, and how their skills and experience get leveraged.

If you want things to go differently, then you need to be aware of what informs leadership styles and how that plays out in a team.

it’s hard to see beyond the water You’re swimming in.

Especially when a lot of the options we are presented with to change things are hacks, or 10 steps to, or someone else’s formula, or 30 other surface level solutions.

The thing is, what most of us need to quiet the noise and reinvent, isn’t surface level work. Because if all that was needed was a good hack, your team would already be delighting in transformational leadership.

Which is why you often know intellectually what would make the difference for your team but you often stop short of applying it. If we truly want to make a lasting change in our leadership teams, we have to take a deep look at what compels us towards and away from things.

We have to get curious, self-reflect, and learn about what conditioning is actually informing our thoughts and behaviors.

Once you are aware of that, you can shift where you make decisions and choices from collectively and that will make your reinvention possible and lasting.

Why can’t we just figure it ourselves?

Why bother?

Because it matters.

Exceptional leadership teams are forged from high-trust, deepened relationships, keen awareness, and aligned action.

As a team, when you can notice each other’s default behavior, understand what informs leadership styles, and intentionally choose something else, your leadership team will:

Embrace healthy conflict

Be more adept at coaching each other

Have humor about each others tendencies

Call each other forward into their most impactful version of leadership

Practice empathy more easily

Feel less lonely in challenges

Shift the culture

Decrease friction, increase fulfillment

And so much more.

The impact of all of that sprinkles onto the rest of your teams, your organization, your clients, and the difference you want to make.

This is for you if…

You care about the impact you have.

You are committed to an organizational culture that fosters trust, collaboration, inclusion, fun and leaders beyond status and titles.

You love forging your own path.

You believe that growth is part of leadership.

You enjoy a wicked sense of humor.

This is NOT for you if…

You are looking for a band-aid solution.

You think being woke is an insult.

Your leadership team isn’t on-board with doing this deeper, meaningful, internal work.

You expect results with out the reverence.

You’d rather chew glass than be vulnerable … just kidding, it’s actually pretty normal to feel that way.

Our coaching together will be confronting, entertaining, and deeply impactful.

It isn’t a campaign that ends as quickly as it began but a true shift in how people show-up for your organization, each other, and themselves.

While I do use my Re-lead Framework as the foundation of any program, we will also have the opportunity to customize it in a way that considers the specifics of your leadership team.

I love this work. I am gifted at what I do. And I love who I get to do this work with.

Which is why when I say, I want this to be a good fit for all of us, I whole-heartedly mean it.

So let’s start with a no-pressure (for real), complimentary discovery session to see what kind of shenanigans we can get up to.
